About the Speaker:

Tony, is a Quality Assurance Professional with extensive experience in automotive manufacturing and quality systems assessment. Tony has a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Engineering Materials from the University of Windsor and a Masters in Applied Statistics from Oakland University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario (PEO), senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) with certification as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Auditor and Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Tony began his career at General Motors which included several positions, such as Reliability Engineer for Van Assembly, Component Engineer for Canadian operations, Product Engineer, Manufacturing Supervisor & SPC Coordinator for Transmission manufacturing. Work at Eaton Corporation included Quality Systems Manager for leaf spring manufacturing at two manufacturing plants. At KS Centoco Tony was responsible as an inside consultant to develop and implement a new quality system to meet ISO9001 & QS9000. At Deloitte Quality Registrar Tony performed 3 rd party audits of automotive, manufacturing and service industries for certification to ISO9001 and TS16949. At PWC Tony worked with small to medium size companies to prepare and submit R&D Tax credits for Canadian companies. Additional quality experience includes Quality Manager for Windsor Mold group, Quality Specialist at IGB Automotive and Quality Launch Engineer for Fleetwood Metal. Currently Tony has been working as an independent consultant to develop and implement ISO9001:2015 for a local automotive tooling and automation company with three locations.
